A mould suitable for the process is shown in Fig. 1; mould half 1 is fixed and mould half 2 can be rotated on hinge 3, 4. As the mould opens cams 14 and 15 interact to force mould half 2 to the right; as the mould closes, cams 20 and 21 return mould half 2 to its original position. Other embodiments are described (Figs. 3 and 5, not shown) in which the movable mould half is slidably mounted on a bar which is hingedly attached to the fixed mould half; in these embodiments the movement in one direction is effected by a cam, and that in the other by an opposing spring.

A mold for molding plastic articles contains a fixedly mounted half-mold 1 {figure 1}, which is hinged mounted. on it, with the possibility of rotation perpendicular to the plane of the connector, the movable blank 2 and the mechanism for rotating the half-form. .
On the half-form 2, the lugs 3 are made, which is connected to the lever of the turning mechanism (not shown) of this half-form. The fixed half-form 1 is rigidly connected to the levers 4 and 5, on which the levers 7 and 8 are pivotally mounted by means of the axles 6. The movable half-form 2 is mounted on the hinge axles with the possibility of axial movement along the plane of the connector of the form and is equipped with a mechanism for its movement, which is made in the form of two cams 13 and 14 interacting with each other, with the cam 13 fixed on the fixed half-form 1, and the cam 14. f mounted on axis 6 of the hinge. Fig. 3 shows an embodiment of the form in which the movable half-form 2 is connected to the rings 7 and 8 by means of a plate 18 mounted on two axes 19 and 20, spring-loaded in axial direction.

The mold for molding plastic articles works as follows.
After the product has been molded into a mold, for example, by blasting or injection molding, the mold is opened by means of a mechanism for rotating the mold half. When using the forms shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the moving half-axle 2 moves axially due to the interaction of the cams 22 and 24 with the roller 23, and the half-form is returned to its original position by means of springs 21.
The use of the proposed mold for molding plastic products will prevent damage to products having a concave part.
